The IMI STI DigitalTrak DT DT2 Electro Pneumatic Positioner is a high-performance loop-powered intelligent instrument, serving as the core control component of pneumatic valve sets. Based on advanced microprocessor technology, it accepts a 4÷20 mA electrical control signal from the automation system and captures the actual valve position signal via built-in position sensors. The internal software of the instrument compares the two signals in real time to precisely regulate air intake and exhaust of the actuator, driving the valve to reach the set position quickly and accurately. It perfectly replaces conventional valve positioners and supports direct access to the HART communication network, enabling two-way information exchange between the positioner and the control system. With a compact and heavy-duty design, the DT DT2 features high reliability and strong adaptability to industrial environments, and is widely used in various industrial automation control systems.

As a professional pneumatic valve control core, the IMI STI DigitalTrak DT DT2 is widely applied in industrial automation systems requiring precise flow, pressure, temperature and level control, mainly covering the following industries:
A1: First check if the supply air pressure is above 1.4 bar and adjust it to the standard range if insufficient. If the pressure is normal, inspect the actuator for jamming issues, check the air loop for leaks and re-initialize the positioner if the initialization process was exited prematurely.
A2: "Down" means the zero point of the position sensor is too low, and "up" indicates the span point is too high. Both are caused by incorrect installation of feedback components. Please recheck the installation in accordance with the manual and fine-tune the position of the installation bracket, then re-initialize if necessary.
A3: Enter: In normal mode, press the A/M and △ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds (the upper line displays parameter values, the lower line displays parameter names). Exit: In diagnosis mode, press the A/M button alone for 3 seconds to return to normal mode.
A4: The main reasons include reverse polarity of external electrical connections, failure of the position feedback module, or zero/span drift. Please first check and correct the wiring, then trim the zero/span of the module; replace the feedback module if the problem persists.
A5: 1) Keep the air supply dry and clean, and regularly drain water and impurities from the air regulator; 2) Check the feedback connection for looseness and tighten it in time; 3) Keep the pressure gauge clear for real-time monitoring of air pressure status; 4) Re-initialize the positioner if zero/span error occurs after maintenance.
A6: First check if the input signal is normal (≥3.6 mA), then inspect the electrical connection terminal screws and tighten loose ones; if the display is still not working, the main board may be faulty and needs to be replaced.
